Our Educational Programs

We strive to offer an array of educational programs aimed to reach the various interests of our members. In the past we have brought in notable speakers such as Hilary Clinton,  Mario Cuomo,  Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Sarah Weddington, Judae Pearl and Ruth Messinger. We have also brought in local authors who have written books on such topics as prison reform, healthy living, religious persecution and other life stories.

We continue to participate in a joint intergenerational women’s Seder with the sisterhoods of Temple B’nai Sholom-Beth David and Central Synagogue Beth Emeth and the Peninsula Section of NCJW. We sponsor two book clubs, an evening one, which has been meeting since 1995, and the day Helene Zarowitz Interfaith group, which has been meeting for over 30 years.
